Correlation of scattered light and cell dry weight with a linear regression for A wild type, B RutC30 and C RutC30 TR3158. Regression analysis shows a linear relationship with high coefficients of determination of R²_wt = 0.97, R²_RutC30 = 0.90 and R²_{RutC30 TR3158} = 0.96. This shows that scattered light accurately tracks biomass formation for all three strains during the phase of steep scattered light increase.
