  1. The activities of malondialdehyde (MDA), catalase (CAT), superoxide dismutase (SOD) and the level of glutathione (GSH) were used to evaluate antioxidant with IPEC. Activities of SOD and CAT are expressed as units per milligrams of protein (U/mg protein). The activity of GSH and MDA are expressed as μmol/g protein and nmol/mg protein respectively
