Pilot-scale fed-batch fermentation of strain HTX-33-GLN1-ΔPAS_chr4_0305 in bioreactor. a, Changes in biomass and methanol consumption. Pilot-scale fed-batch fermentation was performed in a 500 L automatic bioreactor system with 300 L working volume. Temperature and pH were set at 33 °C and 5.6, respectively. Fed-batch fermentation was carried out with 2% glycerol in the initial batch stage. Methanol feeding was started at 33 h, achieving the maximum biomass at 72 h; b, The total nitrogen, the protein content and the conversion rate of methanol to biomass of strain HTX-33-GLN1-ΔPAS_chr4_0305 in the bioreactor; c, The pilot-scale bioreactor used in this experiment; d, P. pastoris SCP sample after centrifugation, washing and drying. Data are average values and standard deviations of triplicate experiments
