SDS-PAGE and Western blot analysis of homologous production of BglT-his in T. thermophilus. T. thermophilus ΔbglT (pMKE2-bglT-his) cells were grown in 50 mL TM⁺ or minimal medium at either 68 or 80 °C, harvested in the mid exponential growth phase followed by cell lysis and seperation of cell extracts via SDS-PAGE. Each lane contains 10 µL of cell extracts normalized to OD₆₀₀ = 10. Proteins were detected by Coomassie brilliant blue staining (A).
