Effect of the feeding experiments. Cultures of S. albidoflavus UO-FLAV-002-NARNAR in NL333 culture medium were supplemented with different concentrations of malonate, cerulenin, p-Coumaric acid (p-CA), L-tyrosine (L-Tyr) and L-phenylalanine (L-Phe). Samples were taken 48 h after inoculation and assessed for (A) naringenin production and (B) p-Coumaric acid production. A control experiment in plain NL333 without feeding was included (-).
