Large-scale purification of refolded Crps by RP-HPLC. The molecular weight of each peak was determined by MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry. For Crp1, Crp2, Crp3, and Crp6, the two observable peaks are: (1) Crps; and (2) formyl Crps (due to the difference of approximately 28 Da determined by mass). For Crp4, the three observable peaks are: (*) Crp4 without methionine (due to the side chain length of the second amino acid of Crp4 [59]); (1) Crp4; and (2) formyl Crp4.
