  1. The diameter of inhibition zones of active extract is recorded in millimeters after incubation at 37 °C for 24 h. Zero means the extract did not have activity towards test bacteria. Imipenem and vancomycin were used as positive controls, while methanol and ethyl acetate were negative controls
