Fragmentation of ZHER3_1-ABD-ZHER3_1 based on LC–MS analysis. The TIC chromatogram ZHER3_1-ABD-ZHER3_1 standard was incubated in spent supernatant of B184k while producing α-amylase. A Total Ion chromatogram (TIC), B Visualization of the ABD amino acid sequence and identified cut sites. The green marked sequence indicates the ABD. The blue arrows indicate the ends of detected fragments with intact C-terminus and a cut site within the ABD and the orange arrows indicate a detected fragment with intact N-terminus and a cut site within the ABD. These fragments are based on the first peak of the TIC. The red and black arrows indicate beginning and ends of two additional detected fragments that were determined based on the fourth peak which had their C- and N-terminus within the ZHER3_1-ABD-ZHER3_1 molecule
