dmtA transcript analysis in Aspergillus niger strains under conditions of Mn2+ deficiency. RNA blot hybridisation was used to assess dmtA transcript levels in NRRL 2270 (parent) as well as in dmtA-deletion and dmtA-overexpressing strains. Ribosomal RNAs (5 µg per slot) provide a reference of quality and quantity of the loaded total RNA. The results shown are representative for biological duplicate analyses
