AppA expression from PHpFMD surpasses P. pastoris endogenous MDPs (PAOX1, PDAS1, PCAT1 and PGAP). Phytase expression was determined by the p-NPP assay. All strains except AppA (PGAP) were induced with methanol at 65 h and consecutive additions until 132 h. Data are represented as mean values ± standard deviation (n = 3)
