Construction of Y. lipolytica strain JMY7126. The auxotrophic strain JMY1212 [27] was used as parental strain. LYS5 and EYK1 genes were successively disrupted with the corresponding purified disruption cassette obtained from JMP3267 and RIP124 by NotI digestion, respectively. URA3ex auxotrophy marker was excised from strains using Cre-Hyg or Cre-EYK1 replicative plasmids (JME547 and RIE132, respectively) as described in [23, 33]
