Effect of DXS overproduction on KT2440 cell growth. P. putida KT2440 cells harbouring the vector p424-DXS or the empty pSEVA424 plasmid were inoculated in LB and, after 1 h, the medium was supplemented with the indicated concentration of IPTG (mM).
