Mycelia were grown in 500-ml Erlenmeyer flasks containing 200 ml MCC medium, with constant shaking at 120 rpm and 28 °C. After 8 days of incubation, the fermentation broth was used as the enzyme source. The statistical significance is indicated by an asterisk (P-value < 0.05 in t-test analysis) or by two asterisks (P-value < 0.01 in t-test analysis). Experiments were carried out in biological triplicates
