Mobilization of pGK1 and pGK2 with the help of pLS20cat. Liquid cultures of the recipient strain MK244 and one of the donor strains (YNB051, YNB032, YNB042, or YNB052) were mixed for pGK1 or pGK2 mobilization and were plated on LB medium containing kanamycin (K) for transconjugants and no antibiotic for the recipient grown at 65 °C. CFU was determined to calculate mobilization efficiencies. Values are expressed as means with standard deviations from three independent experiments. ND not detected (< 1.0 × 10⁻² ppm)
