Quantification and visualization of proteins by Bradford assay and SDS-PAGE analysis. a Total proteins were extracted from the marine diatom Cylindrotheca closterium for 18 and 24 h using SDS-DTT buffer and were quantified using BCA as percentage protein of dried biomass. Bovine serum albumin was used as a standard for calibration, and the absorbance was measured at 562 nm.
