The protein level of Clp was regulated by LesR. A 25-kDa band corresponding to the predicated size of Clp was detected by the polyclonal antibody α-Clp in the control strain OH11(pBBR). The amount of this band appears to have decreased levels in the lesR overexpression strain OH11(lesR). The RNA polymerase α-subunit (37 kDa) was used as the internal control for loading, which was detected by the specific antibody α-RNAP
