Fatty acid composition in transformant AR-DGAT2-40. Fatty acid methyl esters in transformant AR-DGAT2-40 and wild type were analyzed using GC-FID. Fatty acid composition in the predominant region of carbon chain length C16-C18 in transformant AR-DGAT2-40 was altered when compared to wild type: C16:0 and C16:1 increased, whereas C18:0, C18:1 and C18:2 were reduced. SFA, MUFA and PUFA are saturated, monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids. Each value represents mean ± SD (n = 3). Significant difference between transformant AR-DGAT2-40 and wild type is indicated (**p < 0.01, *p < 0.02, t test)
