From: A novel locus for mycelial aggregation forms a gateway to improved Streptomyces cell factories
Morphology of S. lividans 66 and its derivatives PM01 and PM02 in submerged culture. PM01 was obtained after 70 generations in a nitrogen-limited chemostat at a dilution rate of 0.1 h-1. PM02 was obtained after evolving PM01 for another 30 generations in a phosphate-limited chemostat at 36°C and a dilution rate of 0.1 h-1.
