Conserved nucleotides are located in the distal end of the stem structure and are juxtaposed. B. Alignment of the 5' and 3' splice site of P. pastoris with the 5' and 3' border of the splice site of S. cerevisiae. Nucleotides in the box are present in the loop structure. C.
