From: IcsA autotransporter passenger promotes increased fusion protein expression on the cell surface
Analysis of IcsA/IcsA β fusion protein production. UT5600 strains were grown to mid-log phase and induced with 0.2% (w/v) arabinose. Samples were taken at times indicated. Approximately 1 × 108 bacteria were solubilised, electrophoresed on a 12% SDS-polyacrylamide gel and subjected to Western immunoblotting.
