Sequential batch fermentation of glucose for production of propionic acid. Glucose fermentation using A. acidipropionici DSM 4900 under sequential batch mode of operation with cell recycling. Fermentation temperature was maintained at 32 °C, pH at 6.5 by the addition of 5N NH4OH solution.
