Glycogen content of the cyanobacterial strains. Quantitative determination of glycogen in the Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803 acetate transporter expression strain (AT; red bars) and the control strain (CS; blue bars) cultivated in photobioreactor MC1000 in the presence of supplemented 15 mM acetate for 10 d under continuous light 20 μmol photons m⁻² s⁻¹ (starting OD₇₅₀ = 0.05) (see Fig. 1e).
