Total lipid extracts from [14C] acetic acid-labeled cultures of the indicated E. coli strains were analyzed on silica gel TLC plates and developed in hexane:diethylether:acetic acid (70:30:1, v/v/v). TAG: Triacylglycerol. FA: Fatty Acid. DAG: Diacylglycerol. PL: Phospholipid.
