Effect of chaperone co-expression on MsAA NTag overexpression on aminoacylase activity

Aminoacylase activity and specific activity were measured from the cell-free extract from V. natriegens Vmax™ and E. coli BL21 (DE3). Activity was measured in triplicates and expression without and with chaperones were repeated as three biological replicates. Statistical significance for the differences in activity and specific activity calculated by unpaired students t-test was indicated as followed: not significant (ns) for p > 0.05, * for p ≤ 0.05, ** for ≤ 0.01, and *** for p ≤ 0.001
