The effect of SB1, exogenous ATP (exATP), Ca2+ and H2O2 on the expressions of hypocrellin A (HA) biosynthetic genes. The SB1 and ATP treatments were the same as specified in Fig. 2. H2O2 at 1 mM and Ca2+ (CaCl2) at 2 g/L were added on day 6 during the 7-day-old culture of S9. The dosages of La3+, vitamin C (Vc) and reactive blue (RB) were the same as specified as mentioned in Figs. 5 and 6. The culture was maintained in 150-mL flask containing 50 mL of the liquid medium at 150 rpm and 28 °C for 7 days. Values are mean ± SD from three independent experiments. Different letters above the bars mean significant differences (p < 0.05)
