Results of expression analysis. a Soluble and insoluble recombinant protein (LmSucP and BaSucP) percentage share of total soluble E. coli protein expressed by pQE30 and pET21 and corresponding phosphorolytic activity (U/mg total E. coli protein). One unit (U) of activity is the enzyme amount producing 1 µmol αGlc1-P/min under the conditions used.
