Germacrene A production was enhanced by increasing the precursor FPP availability in yeast. Strategies include overexpression of tHMGR1, repression of ERG9 expression by replacing its native promoter with HXT1 promoter, and deletion of DPP1 and LPP1. Values represent the means of three biological replicates. Error bars are the standard deviations from these replicates
