Kaplan–Meier plot showing percentage survival of Galleria mellonella larvae after inoculation with either Marinobacter sp. MCTG107b or P. aeruginosa PAO1. Within a 48 h incubation there was no significant mortality observed after infection with cells of strain MCTG107b as opposed to infection with strain PAO1 where 100% mortality was observed following 24 h incubation. Additionally, no significant mortality was observed in larvae inoculated with the carrier control buffer (PBS). n = 30 (pooled from 3 × duplicate experiments)
