Relative abundance of heterologous PrsA in the cell membrane fraction. The membrane proteome of B. subtilis strains was analysed by LC-MS/MS and label-free Hi3 quantification. The relative amount of heterologous PrsA is given as the PrsA intensities divided by the sum of the total proteome intensities. All strains except B. subtilis 168 are expressing amyL. Levels of heterologous PrsA are shown except for B. subtilis 168 and No added PrsA strains, in which only the native PrsA is present.
