Effects of single-gene overexpression of genes in the endogenous 1-butanol pathway on 1-butanol production. Sixteen genes were overexpressed individually and titers of 1-butanol were quantified after 24 h of cultivation in shake flasks with YPD media. Glucose was used as the carbon source. The YALI0E17787g-deleted strain was cultivated in parallel as control. All values presented are the mean of three biological replicates ± standard deviation
