Colonies were plated from a frozen cryostock of the corresponding expression strain. Error bars indicate standard deviation from eight replicates. b Likewise, but for obtaining agar colonies a mixture of the frozen cryostocks was plated yielding single colonies with undefined signal peptide insert for cutinase secretion.
