Protein profiles of Lb. plantarum NC8 on SDS-PAGE. Lb. plantarum NC8 harboring pSIP409-ACEIP was induced with 50 ng/mL of sakasin-P (SppIP)-inducing peptide at OD₆₀₀ = 0.6 and then the induced cells were harvested at 7 h by centrifugation and were suspended in 50 mM phosphate buffer, followed by sonic disruption. The cell-free extract was analyzed on 17.5 % sodium dodecyl sulfate–polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE) and subjected to western blotting (WB) using rabbit anti-His polyclonal antibody as prime antibody.
