Globo H (a) and globo trisaccharide synthesis using in vitro method (b) with an α1,4 galactosyltransferase (α 1,4-GalT) and a UDP-Gal regeneration using four enzymes (PK, GalK, AtUSP, PPA) and PEP, ATP, UTP, Gal as starting material. This process leads to one glycosidic bond formation. Abbreviation used: Glc (glucose); Gal (galactose), GalNAc (N-acetylgalactosamine), Fuc (fucose); Lac (lactose).
