Relative HPLC peak area ratio between each product and substrate after enzymatic reactions. The HPLC peak area of remaining substrates (lines) and acyl-HSL products (black) were analyzed after each enzymatic reaction with cinnamic acid, p-coumaric acid, caffeic acid or ferulic acid. The ratios (circles) were calculated by peak area of each product against each remaining substrate at the end of enzymatic reactions. The detection wavelength was 300 nm for reactions with each phenolic acid. Error bars reported at one standard deviation from triplicate experiments
