Over-expression of GFP using the plasmid pBSG03 in B. subtilis 168 (a), BSG1681 (b), B. subtilis WB600 (c), and B. subtilis WB800 (d) was compared by determining the cell density and relative fluorescence intensity (Au/OD600).
