Biofilm formation by two Lactobacillus strains on polystyrene microtitre plates following growth at 2 and 3 days at 30° and 35° in aerobic (a) and anaerobic (b) conditions in MRS broth: biofilms were stained with crystal violet, de-stained using 95% alcohol and the optical density at 595 nm of the alcoholic crystal violet solutions determined (OD optical density).
