  1. EPA-2a expressing cells were incubated at 30°C. Cultures were induced either simultaneously with 1 mM IPTG and 2 g/L arabinose, or EPA was induced 2 h prior to PglB (1. EPA 2. PglB) or vice versa by the addition of 1 mM IPTG and 2 g/L arabinose. Values were obtained based on OD600-normalized periplasmic extracts.
