High-temperature cultivation of an rhIL-10 expression strain increases cell death. (A) Schematic representation of the rhIL-10 expression cascade. (B) The rhIL-10 expression strain (clone `H') was methanol-induced at either 20°C or 30°C in a 10-L fermentor. The production of rhIL-10 was measured by an ELISA assay.
