Microbispora sp. growth in P0.1, P0.5, P5, P15 and P30 media. PMV% (□), glucose (Δ), Pi (◇) and nitrate (○) concentrations were monitored. Initial concentrations of glucose and nitrate were 110 and 25 mM, respectively. Initial Pi concentration ranged from 0.1 to 30 mM. Asterisks indicate the growth times where the phosphate concentration was lower than 0.1 mM. Standard deviation was calculated as average of three technical and two biological replicates. Cells were previously inoculated in GE82AB, incubated for 90 h, washed three times, resuspended in distilled sterile water and used to inoculate the different media.
