  1. Gene names are followed by a two-letter code to indicate species of origin: Aj: A. japonicus; Af: A. fumigatus; Cp: C. purpurea; Sc: S. cerevisiae. All genes were synthesized with yeast codon optimization, except for pdi1_Sc, ero1_Sc, and fad1_Sc, which were prepared by PCR on yeast genomic DNA. Synthesis and PCR primer design was based on the named sources to give proteins of the indicated length.
