Comparison of the genes specifically or commonly up-regulated after 60 min of transfer to high-sucrose and lean LD with the genes identified as required for tolerance to high sucrose. The Venn diagram shows the number of genes up-regulated in high-sucrose (HSLD) and lean (LLD) LD (additional file 2) that are common to the high-sucrose tolerance (HST) dataset (273 genes) identified by Ando et al. [13].
