Culture profiles for TM6* transformants grown aerobically on 2 % glucose. Cells were cultured at (A) 30°C, pH 5 and (B) 20°C, pH 5. Glucose concentration (squares), OD610 (triangles) and CO2 level (no symbol) versus time is shown for growth under these conditions. The sampling points are indicated with an arrow, and each sample is also given a number for ease of identification.
