Trend lines of A, B and C of the left column represent a weighed least square regression, all other trend lines were drawn by hand. Due to sedimentation in the 10 ml chemostats, B. amyloliquefaciens (C) was cultivated in actively stirred and aerated reactor with 250 ml culture volume.
