Shown in (B) is the primer extension product of 10 or 30 μg RNA isolated from MB101 carrying pDOW1029 (Pant713) induced with anthranilate is run to the right of a sequence ladder (ACGT) generated with the same primer. The DNA sequence of the Pben278 promoter is shown in (C). with the bold, underlined C indicating the transcriptional start site.
