  1. a The level of IbpA and IbpB was estimated by densitometry of Coomassie-stained two-dimensional gels. Spot volumes were normalised using three spots as internal standards (indicated by circles in Fig. 2) and are given relative to the value of chromosomally encoded IbpB at 42°C.
