Comparison of cell disruption methods for lysate analysis with the electric chips. Vegetative B. cereus cells from the same culture were disrupted by 5 min ultrasonic disruption (transparent bar) or high pressure homogenization (solid bar). Each sample was analysed in an assay with 3 × 107 capturing beads and 10 nM hblC D2 probe (2 h hybridization at 40°C, 10 min enzyme binding, and 2 h enzymatic reaction at 30°C).
