From: Microbial production of sabinene—a new terpene-based precursor of advanced biofuel
The growth of E. coli in LB medium with different concentration of commercial sabinene. The growth of the bacterial culture was determined by measuring the OD600 (the optical density at 600 nm) with a spectrophotometer (Cary 50 UV-Vis, Varian) at 4 h, 7 h, 11 h, 14 h, 17 h, 20 h, 24 h and 36 h. The concentrations of sabinene were added to the LB medium as follows: 0 g/L (■), 0.5 g/L (●), 1 g/L (▲), 2.5 g/L (▼), 5 g/L (◄).
