  1. The mean relative activity and standard deviation of values are shown. All experiments were conducted spectrophotometrically with p- nitrophenyl palmitate as a substrate. Reference standard was set with 4°C, pH 7.0 and 5 M NaCl to determine residual activity under standard assay conditions for temperature, pH and NaCl respectively. Without solvent was included as reference standard for calculating residual activity of organic solvents.
