Changes in the intracellular proteome of A. awamori produced by the addition of CPPs (10 g/L). Proteins were separated by 2-DE. The abbreviation "IC" is used for those spots underrepresented or absent in the CPPs-supplemented cultures, whereas "IP" is used for those spots overrepresented or present only after CPPs addition. The spots differentially represented at each time point are numbered and correspond to those proteins listed in Additional File 2 (Table S1 for IC and Table S2 for IP).
