Effect of pH on activity of recombinant Arthrobacter sp. 22c L-arabinose isomerase. Reaction mixtures containing 0.2 mg mL-1Arthrobacter sp. 22c L-arabinose isomerase and 4% (w/v) D-galactose in 20 mM citrate buffer pH 5–6 (♦), 20 mM potassium phosphate buffer pH 6–8 (■) and 20 mM Tris–HCl buffer pH 8–9 () were incubated at 50°C for 12 h.
